Any one still around?

Or has everyone deserted to FB? :-?

Eeeeeewwwwww! That's a disgusting thing to say.

I'm on the path to getting my FB account pared down to the bare minimum. Their idea of privacy is "whatever we can sell that won't piss off too many people". Now with their IPO that's going to be even more true.

I object to the"must opt OUT" way you find yourself all of a sudden a "member" of some group or other.

At work, we have to agree that our personal accounts are open to be checked by the bosses. Bad enough in it's self, but when, all of a sudden the boss wants to know why you are a member of some FB group, that we have on our "watch" list, then it COULD get very hairy indeed.

Imagine a catholic Bishop finding one of his priests was a "member" of a pro abortion group, or, say, Pagan library" ( ). THEN you get the idea of what I mean.

I like the fact that Facebook has gone out of their way to say that their terms of service won't allow you to share your login with others and any company that demands such info may run afoul of the law. I'm just waiting for the first court case where a company loses and is banned from Facebook. That's something no company can easily afford today.

With Government work, you don't realy get the choice if the "firm" shares the log in. Especiqlly when you work for a department /Ministry who's JOB it is, to root out passwords, etc.

Eh, I pop by from time to time, but I'm gearing up for a Street Fair that I'm attending as a vendor, so my "Internet Time" is in between projects.

Hope everyone's doing good...gotta dash, I've got a wand to burn runes into! flyaway:
You say "Witch" like it's a bad thing!

ive always wondered the purpose of the wand. as ive seen the same things done without it as with it.
many call me insane, many call me genius
if theres a fine line between genius and insanity,
then i must be the greatest tight rope walker ever.
