I hope to find good friends, and forgive my terrible inglish! I know that it's not enougth to get a good conversation, but i'll do my best, ok?
Thanks a lot, and i put myself to help in everything that's in my possibility!

Actually, believe it or not, I'm not fond of Love Hina (only watched the movies and maybe an episode or two). The name comes from the creature... I've always been entranced by the kitsune myths.

I much prefer watching anime like Elfen Lied, Evangelion, Basilisk, Almost anything Miyazaki ( )... But I am an anime addict!

I'm still studying the language myself, but no plans to go there for anything other than a visit in the next few years. I'm Canadian (Caucasion), and my Father hopes that one day he'll be able to convince me that I'm not Asian... My husband has already accepted that I may look white, but I know more about Japanese culture than my own.

Hello! Well, here in Brazil we have a tradicional kind of witchcraft cald CANDOMBLÉ, is an African culture, and they use spíritcs called ORIXÁS to practice the magick. The wicca is growing here too, principally between the young people (13 at 17 years old), but we have some writers that %$@#$&% with this things, they transformed the wicca in a "pink magic". The people here have fear of the hell, and because this they try to "mask" the witchcraft using some cristians things to became "good boys", you know. Our coutry is a litlle more cristinas then the others, and cuz this our teenagers have some difficulties to be theirselfs.
And where are you, how's the witchcraft there?

To KITSUNE:

Hello, i like Elfen Lied too, is very good, and the songs too :-({|=

Well, my girlsfriends here is tha same as your husband srrssrrs, she tries to show me tha she's not japanese and i'll have to accept this srrssrrssr. My family use to hold me in everythings that i plane to do with studies and all. I studied nihongo with a japanise teacher for 2 years and than i stoped. This year i return with my studies and start to project this trip to nihon.
And about you, how's your family and husband faced the fact that you're a witch? And how's the witches of your country?

My husband is Pagan as well, so it all works out. As for other pagans in my area, I couldn't say exactly. I live in the Bible Belt of Canada, so there aren't that many here. We get the usual gamut, most following a eclectic path. Here in Calgary, they mostly don't care what you worship, but everyone will assume that you follow the Christian God if you don't specify otherwise. Heck, on our marriage certificates you have to put down what religion you are... They have 3 choices.

Christian, Eastern, Other

Oh jeez, no way! Only THREE???

Hmm. Should be interesting what we put on ours ;)

I live in a strange area. I'm near Vancouver which is very hippy/Pagan/open, but in a conservative area. It is still not accepted widely but is getting much much better, especially with new generations and people like us who advertise healings and readings. In my current business I have an opportunity to touch many lives, and I hold it as a mission to educate what Paganism is. Luckily, it is a very accepting crowd!

Yours might be different, Crazy, but you'll have to check on it (or find out when you get your form filled out, like we did). Grimwell and I couldn't believe it...

The other humorous part, which we nearly fell on the floor laughing about was that they made us repeat after them, "I understand that I am no one's property and that you are not in control of my actions." I was giggling for days thereafter!

Wow, than, you're a luky witch! You'll not sufer with preconception! :-D But i think like Kitsune. Here, for exemples, in schools or in my work a have to pay atention in who's near me, and what i'm talking. I'm a policeman and my opinios can be very understood in my words. Yeah, we still need to scap from the "Church", you know, the people think that we have the devil insid us (i never said that i didn't, by the way srrsrsrsrsrsrs  )

But you said something about your business... what do you do, your work?

Hey, tell me more about how's to be a witch in your city! I love to hear the histories!
Here, for example, i'm too young but i was invited by 2 universities in my city to talk with the students of "Cience of religion" about the Greek religion and the witchcraft today. I'm so gland, and all, but i'll feel like an animal in the zoo, you know! The people look us like we were an exotic animals! Why can i have a normal treatmant, like a cristian person, or something?
This is a interesting question to do for god rsrsrsrsrsrsrs
