I always like having my bedroom painted blue...and my work-room painted a pale purple...with darker purple accents.

Well, I ould actually just ask if purple would just help you get things done more creatively?

I'll have to keep this in mind when we move. We're looking for a place large enough that I can have an entire room to myself to type in (Personally, I'm hoping for an unfinished basement, where I can have a fireplace, a desk, and a huge amount of bookshelves). Right now, I literally have a 5 ft x 5 ft closet, and I feel cramped, which doesn't help when trying to write creatively.
I may have to paint one entire wall a nice dark blue though, and then maybe the other 3 white with just a touch of blue. Almost certainly this room would end up holding my altar as well, so I'm looking at it in a spiritual sense as well.
