So here's the scoop

Postby SageWolf » Sun Sep 07, 2008 11:04 pm

WOW I go aways for awhile and I'm swamped with reading Material LOL Anyway I quit my job, they decided I wasn't a good enough manager, and so they busted me down to Crew Chief and I was so mad and upset that I went home crying, I talked to my hubby and he said you know what I'm tired of the BS and I don't even work there So put your 2 weeks in so I did and here I am. Funny thing is the day before I was thinking about my path in life, and I though outloud of course, if I could make it finacially I'd dedicate my life to my path. And then this happened.

My kids went to their dads this summer and my son decided 2 weeks before it was time to come home that he wanted to stay, I'm devistated, I had to let him stay and I pray everyday that he is happy.

So I'm jobless and I couldn't be happier, But my husband wants me to job hunt and have another job by the end of Sept.

So I'll see what I can do.

I'm very mad and upset and just dealing with a whole bunch of BS right now, I'm almost to the point of having a nervous breakdown. But I am Breathing LOL

well I am off to bed.

You still have the management training and they cannot take that away from you. This will be a bonus when you apply elsewhere.
No job is worth that much stress. I was at a point where you were until it was possible for me to transfer to a new store. Even though I have more work and responsibility I have less stress because of the no drama.

Better things are next on your path.

Good luck,

Lotus is right. You have the training which is great on a resume.

As for not working, give yourself some time. Hubby can pay the bills for a little while, just as you would (and probably will have to someday) for him. If you don't take time to rest and figure it all out when your body says so, it'll do what mine has done and cripple you. I've been off work now almost a month, and it doesn't look like I will be returning soon. Listen to your body and your spirit! Be honest with hubby. Let him know that you just need some time. In our culture we think it is the worst thing in the world to not work. If you need to rest, you need to rest.

Good luck with your son. That has to be hard. I'm sorry that he has made that choice, but how wonderful that he was honest with you. You're in my thoughts

Also, with your son, I don't know how old he is, but if he is reaching teenage years, he may want "manly" guidance for that tough stuff. His biological father, I'm assuming has always been in is life, so he is close to him. Therefore, he feels he can get that kinda of help from his father. Yes I'm sure your husband can do that, but this is his father he wants to talk to.

I know it is hard, but it will get easier. Who knows what will happen in the future. He may want to come home later.

Just know that we are sending our best energy to you for this difficult time.

Sorry life has handed you a tough road.

Regarding your son, I know how hard that is. My daughter went to live with her dad for awhile and it ripped my heart out at the time. One thing she did tell me after she moved back with me later was, that she knew I was here and and that if things went badly she always knew she had a safe place to go if she needed it. I sure your son knows you are still behind him and feels you in his heart no matter where he is living.

Hang in there. You know we are all sending positive energy your way.

Thanks for the thoughts and energy, I'm devastated but I'll never tell him because I don't want that to sway his judgement. Funny thing is that their dad never had anything to do with them until I remarried. he wasn't even in their lives, then I got remarried he sued me for custoday. I to this day look at it is a passing thing, I feel he doesn't and never has cared for his kids. Thats part of the reason I took it so hard.

I know my management training will look good on my resume. I can't wait to get started but something is holding me back so I'm listening to what my heart and body say.

I'm off now I need sleep.
