I fail to see the logic in taking a child away from its Pagan parents. And then placing it with "good xian parents" when the second parents have a higher chance of beating the kid and only making the child a die hard fundie in an attempt to make up for the parents "sins"

then again i know why there is no logic in that, they posses no logic, no rational mind, they are minions to their own creation

The judge didn't take the kid away from his parents, just told them that they can't raise him in their faith as it would 'confuse' him.

I'll have to see if I can dig up the new report.

Look up "The Orkney child abuse case". Prbably best to google it. THAT will let you into their "logic" a little.**

The second parents have more chance of anything. Consider that the prison population of the entire Western world is more than 80% christian.

For one thing, those who are raised in an Fundy environment with conservative views on women feel they have no choice in the matter. If they go against it, they're going against their god.

Maybe this notion of mine is due to growing up with a surprisingly liberal catholic family?
I was always told (despite enduring a large amount of abuse) that I could be whatever I wanted to be and that I could have out of life whatever I needed out of it...even by my own father.
My father told me that if a man does not treat me as well as he does then I should just leave.
Mind you all I did have a very violent childhood even......the difference I think is that the women punched back.
I think that too often women enable themselves to be treated poorly.

The word you should have used was "zu".
