End of Days in May? Christian group spreads word

Welcome to Fundies! Here you can discuss, vent about, or bash fundamentalists of all persuasions. That means pagan fundies, too.

This on the other hand bothers me though. I am most worried that these deaths are caused by all that oil in the oceans now. It's changing our ecosystem and I really don't think its for the better.

There was some one on RBB radio yesterday that had a list of similr things happening every year and in similar numbers over the past FIFTY (!) years.

ONLY fifty, because previously the records were not kept in one place and got lost, or otherwise went missing.

But I am sure if you looked in all the back issues of Ripleys, the regularity of "rains of fish in middle of Arazona" would bore you to death.

Rains of fish are common... heck, even rains of frogs happen. Mass die-offs? Not quite so much. I don't think I'm being overly alarmist, but it does make me hope that we haven't screwed our planet up irrevocably yet.

This is stupid, if they had paid more attention they would have realized the bible says no one will know the time of the end of the world, even i know that and ive only read 6 of the books... plus how could they ever come up with may of any year let alone 2011. Oh and then also i do not believe the damage is great enough to destroy everything. eventually nature will grow tired of us and wipe us out or die us down.
many call me insane, many call me genius
if theres a fine line between genius and insanity,
then i must be the greatest tight rope walker ever.

I always bet them a couple of million that it won't happen.

Strange how even the "most ardent" believers in "the end", seem not to be able to put their hands in their pockets.

What have they got to loose? :roll:

i remember this whole situation -_- pathetic to be true, i had a party that day just for giggles, they even had an exct time for the end, 8:00 california time (6 here) may 21st, 2011. now as said before, how do you even think of something like that? you didnt get it from the bible because it has no dates whatsoever, the lunacy and ignorance -_- appalling
"Timidi mori pluries ante eorum funera;
Deinde fortis gustabit mortem.
Audivi tamen in cunctis mirabilibus.
Mirum videtur mihi magis ut timeatur;
Videns ut mors, necessaria finem,
Venient veniet." - Julius Caesar
