Yeah harry has to stand it alone, but think of this if you will, Hermione is the clevest little witch of her age, and well Ron is Harry's best friend through thick and thin, even tho they've had a few falling outs they are stronger for it tho, so anyway, with Hermionies Brains and the "love they share for each other, all of them, remember Harry Defeated Voldermort the first time from a "love spell" so to speak, from his mother, thats why he's with the Dursley's from the bond of Blood, when he hits 17 the spell is broken, and all that, but with Harry Ron and Hermione, well the love thing is the Key, at least thats my opnion, and they will be stronger as 3 then just 1, and Hermione will figure it out eventually. We will see what happens in the Last book, But if you reread the books, love and family are the key, so...

I reread books constantly. I read Watership Down so much as a kid I was almost fluent in Lapine I still remember a lot of it. The first line of Watership Down is "The primroses were over.". lol

And I reread Pratchett all the time. I think one needs to, because for the first few reads through, you pick up something new on each reread. Like "whoa, I soooo never noticed that Stoneface Vimes was Oliver Cromwell!" or you get that dirty joke that went over your head when you were 13.

It's not just the characters and jokes, my friend was re-reading Soul Music and when she got to the bit when Death of Rats meets Quoth the Raven she was stunned that she'd missed the reference to Poe's The Raven the many times she'd read it before!

Windwalker: D**n it! Now I feel the need to go read Watership Down again for the one thousandth time. I think my favorite part was about the story of El-ahrairah and the Black Rabbit of Inle. heheh

I wasn't too fond of Frankinstien, but I did love Dracula and Jane Eyre is still one of my favorites. Harry Potter is ok, but I like Mists of Avolon better. I've never read any of Pratchett's works, but I hear, they're wonderful.

SageWolf: I have such a bad feeling that Hermione isn't going to make it. I think Ron is more important to Harry than Hermione is...that's not to say that he despises her we can all see that he doesn't...but Harry and Ron have been through ups and downs, but they always 'get back together' in the end and are stronger friends for it. It was a mother's love that saved Harry in the beginning, but I have a feeling that it's the love of equality, the love between friends, that will save Harry this time around. Hermione could die pretty early on in the next book, but Ron has to stick around to sacrifice himself to save Harry in the final battle.

I really didn't like Half-Blood Prince. I think it's the only time in the whole series I've thought "JKR! What are you doing?????" The whole Draco arc annoyed me. She gave him a progressive storyline that should have made a man of his character and he was still a 'boo-hiss' villain at the end!

Ahh, well it will all be over by the 21st of July...I can't wait! I'll be dressed up in school robes (yup, I'm that sad!) waiting with friends to pick it up at midnight!

Forgotten Oceans: Pratchett is wonderful! My favourites are Soul Music, Hogfather, Guards!Guards!, Wyrd Sisters, Witches Abroad, Carpe Jugulum and Lords and Ladies. Wyrd Sisters is the first one I read, it's kind of a rip off of Macbeth, so if you know the play it's probably the easiest ones to get into.

Just wanted to put in my two cents...

MISTS OF AVALON is awesome... Yeah, one of my favourite books of all time.

I must admit, my favourite book of all time is still "Where the Red Fern Grows". I still cry every time I read that book.

have to agree that Mists of Avalon is awesome. I still read it and I visit Glastonbury every time I get back to Wales. I was there last May and i have some great pic's of the Tor and the view from the top. If i knew how to post them here i'd love to. If anyone can tell me how i'll give you all a glimpse of Avalon.
On the nit-picky side though. The one thing that made me cringe was Marion Zimmer-Bradley saying that "Druid" comes from an old english word meaning "Man of truth" When we all know it comes from "Derwydd" meaning "Men of Oak"
