Earth-based Paganism versus the Occult elite

The whole reason I have registered to these forums is I read a good article in The Pagan Library about how Satanism is often confused with Paganism whilst in fact the former more shares the worldview of Christianity.

A lot of my research is concerned with what I suspect is an occultist cabal of great power which not only meticulously plans such terrible events/magic rituals like 9/11, but also audaciously leaves their signatures on them.

The planning when you look into it is quite awe inspiring--the dates, astrological significance, numerology/genatria, and other symbolism.

Many people from a big cross section will react to even the talking about this in various states of hostility, ridicule, changing the subject, apathy, etc. But I am not one for burying my head in the toxic sand.

I wonder what people here think about this.

It seems to me that these people derive anciently from androcentric warrior-driven solar cults, and the indigenous peoples they invaded were earth-based people who followed the Goddess, and then the invaders infiltrate their mythology taking what they want to use but in a subverted way.

This is similar to what the Church did in infiltrating European Paganism--Instead of JUST violent coercion to follow their belief system they would build their churches in sacred Pagan sites, and name their saints after Pagan gods etc.

What the earlier solar cultists would do would me 'marry' their sky god with the 'earth mother' --classic man-on-top and from therere gradually dominate the Goddess (and women) eventually 'killing' her such as Marduk did in Babylon, and this pattern is repeated through the world.

What do you think we can do about this vast terrible problem of these crazed magickians wanting to destroy the Web of Life?

offhand, this is a much better were the question that I would've thought considering the subject matter.

Personally, I have problems believing in an over arcing cult that is secretly running the world deliberately trying to keep us down is silly. On the other hand, I can easily believe that there are many groups trying to keep us down as well is occasionally coincidence kicking us in the ass. It's the way of the world though and even Christianity and Satanism have to go through those great wheels. We're definitely on our way out of that wheel though, if any of the newest information is to be believed.

sorry its been a while to reply. I dont think it silly. You know there are secret societies right? Both the 'opposite' leaders of the American parties running for presidential office ADMITTED they had been in the Skull and Bones but couldn't reveal anything about their initiation. So there you have it from the liars mouths, right?

ALL over such bloody events like 9/11 etc you have occult symbolism, numerology and so on. All the corporations logs bear occult symbolism as does the American currency. So one has to be blind deaf and dumb not to dig that something is going on!

But next question is what then do we do about it> AS Pagans? As earth-based Pagans? NOT take it seriously?

I mean there sure dont seem much interest here does there?

It has been some time since I asked this question, and in a way am sadly not surprised that this question was conspicuously ignored, and that is because the occult elite have infiltrated so-called western paganism, so people who are unknowingly involved are confused about such questions as this.

I'm going to put my opinion out, because I feel I need to do so.

I do not believe in an ancient or worldwide cult that is pulling the strings behind the scenes of everything in order to gain some sort of world dominance (that they theoretically would already have if they were that big). I've seen the theme used over and over again in various media types (movies, books, video games) and while it can make an awesome plot, the human race doesn't have that unified of a mentality to be able to have a multi-cultural shadow society manipulating events in thousands of places at once. The type of Alpha personality that would be required to run a branch of something like that wouldn't take well to the "chain of command" for a long period of time, before thinking that THEY deserve to be a higher leader, and the in-fighting will eventually cripple the whole group. I mean, if you want to see what a bunch of "alpha" personalities does when you cram them all in a room, look at a local city council, or the U.S. Congress. They're lucky they can agree on what to have for LUNCH, nevermind what they want to do policy-wise. Every secret society ended up having a massive amount of in-fighting pulling it apart in the end, at least any that showed in history books.

As for the "significance" of certain things, I once read a book, and though it was fantasy novel series the opinion is still valid. The difference between Omens and regular happenings in the world lie in the perception of them. Not every gust of wind, or clap of thunder, or fall of the dice has cosmic significance. The trick in deciphering omens is figuring out which IS an omen and go from there. But, we don't live for nearly 7,000 years and can't really learn the nuances of things like that. Not to say that I don't believe in Signs...but I don't act JUST because of what I think is an Omen. I back it up with other information.

I'm not burying my head in any kind of sand, be it toxic or not. I just don't think that human nature would allow something like you've mentioned to exist, simply based on observation of human ego.
