While Jules is now a good friend of mine, I fell in love with her Dalriada trilogy before we ever met.

These books are an amazing emotional and spiritual journey through Alba, the country which would eventually become Scotland. Everyone I know who has read these books has loved them and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in this topic. Jules is an amazing writer, able to draw readers deep into the story and make you feel as if you're there witnessing everything first hand.

The White Mare
The Dawn Stag
The Boar Stone (Song of the North

She has also written a different stand-alone novel called The Swan Maiden. This is a retelling of a famous legend of Ireland. This, too, is a wonderful read. :)

Maybe now you're starting to understand that while I may have been born predispositioned to be pretty batty, my parents saw to it that it was a certainty and completely unavoidable. -Me
