Alright ya'll quit being catty.
There is no need to nit-pick what everyone says and start arguments! Rusting gave some useful information, and we have all posted information from other sites on this board. And you knew what Wbdsngr was talking about when she said copywriting. Drop it!

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!-

Re: Need some Advice
As to copyright infringement, I post parts of articles but add a link so the reader can go to the source for the rest. There is one site, though, lvrj.com, which is known for suing everybody for the slightest copy. Thankfully, they've started losing cases.

Yeah... Made me wonder what happened to Lotus... I think RustingWizard was on his way out when I first joined... I only vaguely remember the name.

Oui & that's about all I'll say about that one, but a look at this thread explains that one. I personally agree with librarian, if it's an article, summarize and link or copy an excerpt and link to it and always give credit. If it's short, paraphrase if possible or at least provide the link and quote. As authors, I know you and I would appreciate that kind of basic courtesy
been wondering about several of our old, missing members lately actually.

Re: Need some Advice
That is the main problem with "Internet buddies"... its 10x easier to forget about the connections you've made because "they're just online and its not like I ever see them anyway."
Personally, as someone who spends more time online than off, I consider the people I meet online and connect with to be my true friends... though I notice that we're all running out of steam for posting on here. It saddens me even as I know it's just another turning of the wheel. Heck, I know I'm just as, if not more guilty of this than the rest of you. The loss of friends is always a disappointment.

Re: Need some Advice
We've seen a few up and down swings in postings and members over the years. Hopefully things will pick up again
