Sorry I was gone so long...

Post by Kitsune » Tue Dec 07, 2010 11:03 pm

November was a killer this year... I had to deal with health issues (pinched nerve) as well as an injured hand during my highest typing month of the year. Fortunately, Dragon NaturallySpeaking is a wonderful supplement to my writing process.

As a bit of an update, I finished 56,3311 words this month and came in 12th throughout Calgary! Definitely a good win in my books.

And of course, I'm back on the boards and I'm ready to chat now!

Thanks everybody.

I tried not to let it stop me, but I must admit, without my Dragon I wouldn't have succeeded this year. My wrist was out and out unhappy with me.

Fortunately it's doing much better now... I get the occasional twinge during work, but nothing I can't handle. I have been exceptionally quiet everywhere online actually. I finished Nano and just didn't want to type at all for a few weeks :-({|= Though I will admit that getting sick had nearly as much to do with it; I caught one of those "weakening colds" just after nano, where all in all you're fine, you just feel weaker than normal and sleep comes a bit harder than it should. #-o

I've been way too quiet though! :-# I'll be working to change that one right quick!

Wrong "K", Max. :P

Kitsune got thru NaNoWriMo (And congrats on that, dear!) despite a bad wrist. MY NaNoWriMo died after 4k words b/c of character conflict and incomplete world-building.
You say "Witch" like it's a bad thing!

 I think you won anyways Kystar... you wrote something, which means that you created something out of nothing... even if it's unfinished, it's still something worth celebrating!
