Just thought I would introduce myself. I'm Mab, and I'm just under the year mark reading, studying and practicing the Wiccan path. Having a wonderful time on my journey. I grew up both Catholic and Christian, and there's a lot of stuff that I have to shake off to open up totally to my new path. Each day that I try to "live the Wiccan Way", I feel more at ease and less condemned, I feel free and not strapped down, I want to participate and not count the hour before the church service is done. I can't wait for the Sabbats and Esbats, and participating as a solitary practitioner with the new rituals I've learned, and not watching the minister or priest perform the service. This journey is not for everyone, but I'm willing to learn and absorb things like a sponge to keep on moving forward and thank the Goddess and God for all their help. Wish I wouldn't have waited so long to start practicing. Merry meet to you all, Mab

Welcome to the boards, and I'm glad that you're finding your path such a joy. If you don't respect your deities and love what you're doing, why would you do it, after all.
