Dad going in for Brain Surgery

Post by Kystar » Sun Apr 25, 2010 6:25 pm

Hey, gang,

I've just been blindsided by this issue. My father, who I haven't been talking to (yay, family drama :-? ), is going in for brain surgery tomorrow AM. The doctors say it's a very low risk surgery, but he has a tumor (non-cancerous) that is putting pressure on his brain. It was discovered when it affected his speech.

Healing thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

No word yet from my step-mum about dad. I know he was to be at the hospital at 6 AM, but I don't know when his surgery was exactly scheduled...so I'm just trying not to worry.

Thanks for the good thoughts and healing wishes everyone.

Update:

Dad's out of surgery, they say everything went wonderfully. He's in recovery now.

I'll be visiting him when he gets home where he's more comfortable.

Thanks again for the healing energy! :GHug:

GREAT!

Now you just need to look after the guy. AND make sure he looks after himself as well. ;)
