Air Force Academy Cross Over Incident at Pagan Circle

How do you feel about this? Does it qualify as a "hate crime"? I believe it may not, but how would Catholics feel about finding a Star of David on their altar?
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, February 4, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs has established a pagan circle in the woods on its campus with plans to dedicate it officially in March. However, the site has generated new controversy as Air Force staffers have revealed that a large wooden cross was found at the site, with some calling the placement of the cross a “hate crime.”

It's borderline a hate gesture. It is certainly a move of intolerance.

The close-up of the article makes me irritated. I've noticed that more and more Christians are getting thin-skinned about any Criticism of their practices, calling the people criticizing them Intolerant. It's like the more other religions regain their validity, the more the Christians scream about how THEY DESERVE...(Insert whatever here)!

I wouldn't call it on par with putting a swastika at a Synagogue, but is it certainly akin to graffiti on a chapel. It's an act meant to defile the sanctity of the site, to either protest or mock them.
You say "Witch" like it's a bad thing!
