Re: Blessed Samhain
First I looked, it was April, it seemed like the next day, and we were on our way to Leipzig, which is SECOND week in Oktober! August seems like it was last year sometime. (We must have had TWO of them in 2008
) The whole year is acting like one of these dreams that you wake up from, and as soon as you try and remember it, it dissapears like a bottle of rum left to close to me.

Re: Blessed Samhain
I personally always finds that the dark half of the year (from Summer Solstice to Winter Solstice) feels as if it goes by much faster than the first half.

Agreed! This is truly my time of year. It all just goes by so very quickly though.Ragnar wrote:My favourite time. End of September to Jule is BRILLIANT.

Re: Blessed Samhain
I like the inner feelings that come this time of year. And every year seems to go a little faster. I remember a quote from a book.
"Oh child, if only you knew how short a year truely is."
Feelin that for sure.

Re: Blessed Samhain
I do have to say, I like getting older, every year I care less and less what most people think about me. I used to want to run and hide when I trip, now I just laugh it off and help up the other people I knocked down.
I think this is a benefit of paganism, age isn't something we fear, it is just natural in the next stage of life, I am moving towards motherhood (not pregnant yet but open to the possibility) and feel a lot of the emotions I associate with motherhood. And I love watching my husband, every year he is a bit more handsome and confident.
Ragnar....does Lisa know what a charmer you are?

Of course she knows how much of a charmer he is. How do you think a bloke from Blighty landed a lass such as her in the first place?
