Hi all. It shows how infrequently I've been visiting, I miss such good subjects. Hope you don't mind if I make an observation.
Take a good look at the creation story in Genesis. The anscestors of all peoples taught with story, after all very few could read or write, and a good yarn is how to remember a lesson. So some unknown author in the past went around the tribes in North Africa and gathered together their creation stories then put them together into something like what we have today and what the judeo- christians think of as literal truth. But if you read it from a Pagan viewpoint what we read is a lesson, a story of a journey through the elements to reach a perfect human soul.

Very very pagan.

Never thought of it that a compilation that is.

I always saw creation as a bit of a metaphor, but I am re-evaluating that now too. I mean who gave us the story, what would prompt one guy to write it down? How did that one person bias/edit it?
