Jaycee Dugard Abduction Case Highlights Failure of Psychics

Post by Librarian » Sat Sep 05, 2009 8:59 am

http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/200 ... ofpsychics
...a Reno psychic is now claiming the case proves the accuracy of her abilities.

...If Shear's psychic powers told her that this poor girl was being kept in the most horrific conditions - being subjected to continual sexual and physical abuse for nearly two decades - then it's puzzling that Jaycee was not found 18 years ago...
When will the self-deluded learn?

Anyone know of similar stories in their areas?

There's a new movie coming out called "Push" that claims to be about real psychokinesis.

http://www.livescience.com/culture/0902 ... movie.html
"Push," like many movies, claims to be based on real events. If that’s true, look for the scenes of the young psychics getting caught faking their abilities. Until the long-sought scientific proof of psychic power is found, psychokinesis — like "Push" — is more fiction than fact.

Anyhow, no clue. But it's common knowledge that Humanity is Prone to Failure, so are it;s various interpretive signs.
"Water, water, everywhere,
And all the boards did shrink;
Water, water, everywhere,
Nor any drop to drink."
