I didn't even get all the way through that article before my BS alarm was going off too loud to pay attention.
Though, he did have one point that I've made in the past...the Jeudo-Christian belief that God turned the world over to Man's rule DID aide in the abuse of our planet, and any culture that didn't follow their credo.

"A cunning mixture of science, paganism, eastern mysticism, and feminism have made this pagan cult a growing threat to the Christian Church."
*GASP!* How did they find us out???
And, uh... Hey... I've been using this as an argument lately... If when Jesus came, the Old Testament was basically washed away, why is it still being followed? I mean, would that not imply something that *smacks* of Judaism? Where did Jesus ever condemn Pagans?
Honestly, this is scary stuff. I have never met so much hate as a Fundie. I think I want to vomit. This should be banned material. The stuff of hate mongers.

Oh, but we can't ban stuff like that! It's censorship and a violation of their First Amendment Right!
You know, the one that says you're allowed to worship whatever way you want as long as it's an established Christian sect?
Of course, if WE complained that being banned was a violation of our First Amendment Right, then we're commie fascists out to destroy the American Way.
Hypocrite, thy name is Fundie.

I posted this on other boards I visit, and can say that even the Christians there were
ed with this site. One guy called it:
That entire site is IMO a bucket of vomit stinking of hatred, misguided views and tabloid-fashion sensationalism. Crap not worth discussing actually.

have made this pagan cult a growing threat to the Christian Church.
Can#t be very strong in their faith and self confidence then can they?

I get it, If we want to save the Earth that we live on we are bad pagan's and Christans are threatened because we care about where we live LMFAO, But let me say this, Is that woman who wrote this article even educated? Sure I worship Mother Earth, But Rag Like's Ummm maybe Odin (Sorry Rag I'm not too sure who your main God is just speculating) And CHL Is the Divine and Everyone else has a different main godhead that they are more drawn too then Mother Earth or Gaia .
But your right, the First amendment was created by christians with christians in mind, the right to choose your religion, they meant christianity. And now I bet they regret that since paganism is rising and Christianity is falling. But honestly it's extremest like that that makes me want to be a christian and the funniest thing I've just thought of is this, You get an extremely religious family who says your going to burn in hell for not going to church and blah blah and then they tell their kids that paganism is a bad thing and all this, and then they do the funniest thing, they forbid their kids to even see what paganism is, Like that will really stop a child from studying something they are forbidden to do, Why don't you just hand em a book on the stuff and say hey, go for it.
Anyway I'm not making much sense.

Ya' know, the fastest way I know of to get a teenager to do something these days is to forbid it. Don't explain why they shouldn't, don't say "I'd rather you didn't"...say NO!
It will take something like five minutes for them to decide that if Mom FORBIDS it, then it's something COOL and they MUST do so!
(My teenage remembrance of this was smoking...despite Mom being a smoker, she FORBADE me to smoke...what did I start doing behind the nearest news stand? Take up smoking with some friends! Luckily, I moved away from that dirty habit VERY quickly...though I'll still hit off a clove cigarette if offered.)

Well, at least she doesn't hold a grudge.
I must say that I agree with most fundies when they start talking about the rapture......when all of them will be taken to heaven (to make a bloody mess there too) and we get 'left behind' .
Anyone got a date+time for that one yet?

Yeah, this is hate and garbage and stinking vomit as the person said.
I just really find conspiracy theories funny.

every time i come to this part of the forum, i'm surprised at the fact that my family did NOT write this... it just seems like they'd say these things...
i guess they figured my diabolical scheme again though...
time for a new plan....

Does it really matter who wrote it? We as pagans are being slandered and of course we are possessed by Demons, that's the only explaination as to why we went away from the good book anyway, Trust me I've heard it all before, But the problem is is that they don't see the damage they are doing to theirselves,
Hubby Tells me that I like to antagonize Christians but in realitiy I don't I just can't wait to get my own house and put up Pagan symbols all over my house, I don't hide who I am but when I buy my own house I'm not going to flaunt it so to speak I'm just going to be less sublte.
And when I say something along the lines of wouldn't that tick the christians off, I mean the close minded ones who doesn't even read a book.
Anyway I'm on a tangent lets not get me started, needless to say I'm not out to irk the christians, not intentionally anyway, But if I irk a fundie then my day is a good day
I'm actually now in the mood for fundie stew

Nuuu! They has uncovered our Master Plan!
*pokes at Ragnar* Hey, yeah, which god do you follow? The Heathens seem to have a tendency to be adopted by a god or two. I don't think I've seen you mention it. Though it is a personal question, and I probably shouldn't pry.

Started off with Hemdallr. Now been transferred to Frigga and Tyr.
Although any one who tries to get into our flats to deliver adverts may well think Garm would be a better patron.
(Guardian of the gates of Hel. Garm(r) is sometimes seen as a Helhound, comparable to Cerberus.)
