Welcome to Fundies! Here you can discuss, vent about, or bash fundamentalists of all persuasions. That means pagan fundies, too.

Me and My SO are planning to see if we can get it banned in Canada too. The last thing we need here in Canada is our fundies getting ahold of this...

Especially in Alberta,
however, it will be tough, you will have to prove that it is inciting hate, which can be tricky. They let Ahenekew (sp?) off even though he said some awful stuff and it took us almost twenty years to get Ernst Zundel (a holocaust denier) out of Canada.
But good luck in your efforts and let me know if I can help! My MP always loves anohter letter from me.

I'll keep you updated, although I've had to move this temporarily to the backburner for a few days. As of Next monday I'm moving, and I've lost my home internet. I'm sooo busy these days. Hopefully after the move and cleaning is done (at the latest July 1), I will be able to devote more time to this endevor.

wow that really bugs me, I couldn't even finish reading it (I get mad at people who condemn other faiths)
it brings to mind a quote by Gandhi "I like your Christ, but I dislike your Christians, they are so unlike your Christ."
I am so thankful that my friends aren't fundies (of course only one of them knows much about my spiritual path)
By the way Kitsun, I'd be glad to help get it banned :-D, Us Canapagadians (I think that's how it was spelled) have to stick together! ;)

Someone once said:

Christ had a good idea. To bad they made it into a religion.

Yay Canadians! To bad we lost our cup.

Next year Maybe!

Another Good one from Gandhi, when asked what he thought of English Civilization he said "I think it would be a good idea."

This site is actually going to help me on my next fundamentalism paper. I have an idea bubbling in my head.

WooHoo!!! More Canadians... What part of Canada are you from? I'm an Albertan girl myself. And Yes, Anyone who wants to help, write a letter to your local police and governing offical. I'll be doing this ASAP after the move and cleaning is over. Honestly, if it weren't the Solstice, I think I'd even move that one to the backburner for a few days. But my letter will be written and sent soon.
