Unlike the States, Britain does not have a written Constitution, but this surely breaches Constitutional rights?

Isn't it about time that some of this was challengerd in your Courts?

We seem to have more religious freedom in Britain.

That's atrocious. Simply hideous. I'm pretty outspoken, but those just disgusted me.

I don't suppose that church was one of the bunch that got burned down recently, eh? Dare to dream. Free speech really is a 2 edged sword. What really burns AND confuses me is the "god hates USA" signs, written and being used by people LIVING in the US. If you hate it so much as to go to this cruel extreme, then LEAVE! The US hates you too!!! Its one thing to picket for what you (oh-so-wrongly) consider to be a moral highground, but to campaign in such broad terms against your own country? Its like playing darts in a rubber lifeboat. There's plenty of room in other parts of the world to live if you hate it that much. I just don't get it.

Quite Kelreth. And if you look particularly hard you may just find that, that is mentioned in this thread somewhere. ;)

I agree in principal.

But when you get two groups, such as christian/muslim, BOTH with the duty to attempt world domination. Then Like Hitler and Stalin, one has to give.

If not the two must attempt to destroy one another.

WE are caught in the middle.

Interestingly enough the Buddha did encourage the middle path.

Maybe he was on to something...

Hmm. As far as I recall, the Budhist monks can be a little viscous in battle as well. Didn't the Hindus have trouble from them at one time?

They did,
and apparently the samurai is an offshoot from he Buddhist path as well.

Just because the Buddha said it does not mean people follow it (unfortunately)

Monks can own people. Honestly, the last people in the world I would wnat to piss off is Buddist monks and Shaolin monks and eastern monks in general.

They have attained almost inhuman perfection
