What does the pagan think of Heaven??

Welcome to Fundies! Here you can discuss, vent about, or bash fundamentalists of all persuasions. That means pagan fundies, too.

I knew I'd heard that story before, I finally ran the sucker to ground, for anyone who's interested. "A Man, His Dog, and Heaven" was written by Earl Hamner Jr. in the 1960's; it was originally the plot he wrote for a Twilight Zone episode, believe it or not. It's been retold in synopsis ever since as a tear-jerker fable (I know I get a little girly every time). I think even the Chicken Soup book it was in credited it erroneously as author unknown.

Just thought you might like to credit it if you repeat it anywhere on the web. It pops up on pet related sites a lot, but is rarely attributed. :-o
