Very foxy man. I do admit to having a bit of a thing for foxy guys who're good horse riders.

Viggo?

Bleck.

lol.

Not my taste. Sorry. Maybe it's because I was expecting Aragorn to be taller than the others in the party, and with a lower voice, although Viggo did play the part well and I am in love with the character of Aragorn (not in that way you strange people, like I love the characters of Titus Adronicus).
Or maybe it's his teeth... *shudders*

WHITE HARMONY Glad you are here.

I need something sorting out here. Last I looked at this topic it was one page long (roughly), I have had no "notifications of reply to topic". Now it's what 4 pages?

AND IT'S MY TOPIC!!! :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?

I have contacted the librarian, but it's still happening. On some other topics as well.

Now, I will go back and read what every one has had to say.

AHHH!! GOOD STORMY AS WELL!! I have just checked back and I have deffinately NOT been notified of AT LEAST this topic, I suspect also a few more.

Sorry double posts, but I need the first one sorting.

The way I see it is that the christians have pulled the rug from under our feet.

They were right peeved by Potter, Lord of the rings was obviously too much of a cult among the public in general , but Heathens/ Pagans in particular, for them to be able to "kidnapp" it. NARNIA, however, they have gone for a pre-emptive strike.

Now, when the box office reciepts come in, are they going to turn around and claim it as a "great victory for the christian message"? you bet your :orcass: they are.

Every DVD sold, every box office ticket sold, every sound track. It may not be going into the pocket of the "church", but the propaganda value is. :smt076 :smt076 :smt076

All I can say is that I LOVED the Narnia books as a kid, and I don't care what 30% of the world says, 70% says Narnia not christian, so BLAH! Majority rules!! Someone pass the popcorn!! :-D

Ummm, Viggo, *drools giant puddle that fills room and drowns in spit*
Maybe now you're starting to understand that while I may have been born predispositioned to be pretty batty, my parents saw to it that it was a certainty and completely unavoidable. -Me

It think it is more the Aragorn thing, Faromir made the movies nice too. I want to take my BF horseback riding but we never get the opportunity. No Legolas for me, he doesn't do the door scene in the second movie, that is what ties it all in.

*ahem*
I can't remember what the original topic was. Something about Narnia?

And Ragnar I somewhat agree, I wonder if the passion would have been such a huge success if it weren't for churches buying up movie theaters.

I must have had about ten people say, oh you study religion, here have a free ticket. I will admit I never went, I don't do well with gore.
