what do u think the best way to grow herbs is?

It really depends on the herbs you are trying to grow. Some like different soil types, different composts, more light, less light, hotter, cooler, drier, wetter, etc. So it really comes down to which herbs you are trying to grow and your climate and resources.

I was tempted to answer with, "In dirt" but didn't think people would think it was all that funny. As I am sadly better at stepping on plants than growing them - except trees! My trees grow tall and strong! - I couldn't provide any serious insight
