You know when things are going great, they seem to get worse a second later.....
My GF has just been informed that her contract will not be prolonged.(she is a certified nurse) Her employer seems to think that her mood has to much ups and downs (she is an empath working with children, DUH!)

Now i have been trying to teach her about shields and energywork, so that she doesn't have too much problems with it(her coming from a nice Catholic family doesn't help).....But it seems to be too late.

If anyone could spare a bit of positive energy.......tnx

Sending some positive blessings your way!

Can you help her with her sheild even if she can't make one herself?

Sending Positive energy your way, Good luck with teaching her the shield, I had a heck of a time learning how to do mine and I did that on my own. it was so hard. I am still working on it, I have figured out how to block most emotions but I still get anger and not to mention the fact that when I get home from work or just shopping I am mentally exausted, I have to drop my shield completely and my Husband and I end up fighting because I get his moods, and he doesn't like it, A word of advise I have found soothing in Animals, something about them just completely relaxes me, I can tune into their emotions and calm down it's wierd, I can suggest that you get a cat or a dog, Dogs are better for soothing, but cats demand less attention so it's up too you.

The easy part is when she is here, just put up a shield around both of us, but she cannot do so on her own. To do so when she is at home/work, it is possible for me as well, but since she lives about 150 miles from me, it drains me to great effect.

She does know one way to shield herself though.....and she had about 12 yrs of practice in it. It shuts out everything, and she cannot let go unless helped!(it took me two months and a Samhainn with her to do so... )

She is capable, most people are; but she misses the (positve) energy/ understanding of it, to do so.
So thanx ppl for the energy, I'll let you know how this weekend goes. (she's here in 17 hrs :smt060 )

Don't I know it. Not just with animals, but trees and rocks as well(hey, they don't call us Treehuggers for nothing  )
You attune your own energy signature to one that doesn't feel said emotions/ one that is at peace with these emotions.
If you wish, we could talk about this outside the board, just pm.

Blessings from within the Sacred Grove,

Any luck with her finding a new job?
I've been keeping her in mind and a good idea is the use of hematite (sp?). You could charge the stone to ground and transmute the energy about her....some of my most effective wardings/shieldings have included making a hematite talesman. Perhaps creating a sachet for her could help?

All to no avail I'm afraid........
The shields are up, and I've been politely told (via email :-( ) to leave them so.......

I don't know what hurts more; getting dumped, getting dumped this way or that only one of us was willing to fight for this relationship.

Ah buggers!

Getting dumped sucks no matter how it is done. Blessings, for you!
