Driving Test

Post by Crazy Healer Lady » Thu Jun 15, 2006 9:21 am

 Righto...

I'm going in for my full license on Wednesday the 21st, 2pm. I've been driving for about... 4 years? and finally am eligable to get my full license, none of that stupid "L" "N" cr** Canada has enforced that has led to more pollution, more streetracing, and more car crashes

I'm a very good driver and know I can pass but I'm still terrified I'll waste my money on it and fail. Any good thoughts, wishes, and luck sent my way sure are appreciated, but please don't take them from Stormy or Fyregarnet

Thanks, all!

You'll be in my thoughts dear. I'm sure you'll do well and be able to get your license.

yeah, stay calm and be friendly too the agent, they can be P*&^%s sometimes but oh well.

And it isn't a waste of money if you fail, nor does it prove anything. I failed mine twice but everyone says I am one of the best drivers they know.

I'll be thinking of you.

Good lucK, and don't worry, I failed mine the first time, but nailed it the second time. The only reason I failed the first time was nervousness. So just take a deep breath and relax! :-)

You are in my thoughts and prayers, but you'll pass just fine so long as you keep your wits about you and don't let them make you nervous.

I do have to ask though - they make you pay to take a driving test in Canada? I don't recall having to pay anything at all here in the USA and a good thing too since I think it took me 7 or 9 tries to pass

Aww thanks, all ^_^

Yes they make you pay. $50 for this test, and $17 if I pass

I forget what they make you pay for the "N" and "L" tests but it's about the same

50?

Holy crap it is 90 dollars I think in Canada, at least for your first level, then somthing like 25 for each subsequent test.

Not to mention driving lessons which cost another 500 dollars.

I think I am envious of the states right now.

Congratulations, Girl!! I knew you could do it. That is awesome. So I guess that means you'll be driving if any of us come over right? ;)
