Kitty Blessings_Part2

Post by Wbdsgnr1 » Fri Jul 22, 2005 4:49 pm

I hate to be posting this BUT.........

Its for a different cat this time. Firelords cat Ash has somehow hurt his tail, at the base of it next to his body. As far as I know he has not had it caught in a door. I have no possible idea how this has happened. It looks a teeny bit swollen and hes starting to complain about it.

So in the morning (Saturday) Firelord is taking him to the vet (for the first time, but he will handle it MUCH better than Jasmine) while I will be at work worrying my head off about him.

I know your blessings worked wonders last time for Jasmine so I ask them again, please hold Ash in your blessings the next couple of days.

Thank you!!
blessed be

Poor little kitty! My thoughts are with your darling cat for a safe trip there and home again! Hopefully it wont be a traumatic visit for him.

Thank you everyone.

Firelord did take Ash to the vet and he was a very well behaved cat indeed. It didn't phase him a bit. The vet checked it and also thought that it looked like an animal bite that had somehow ruptured.

Well, the vet said it was good that it had ruptured. Ash was in a lot of pain before it did and since it had fully drained, and now hes on antibiotics (he takes them very well for Firelord) he should be fine. They didn't say anything about keeping him in but we are anywayz considering he has a hole in his tail.

Altho hes a little upset he cant go outside. And sometimes he acts hurt (even tho hes not in pain at all) just to milk all the attention which he gets a lot of lately. He even sleeps in our bed all night long.

I will let you all know when his hole completely closes up and he can go outside again. Thank you for all your blessings!!

blessed be

Good to hear he's being his usual cat self there. Sorry I wasn't online to send positive energy when you needed it the most. But I'll send some so that the hole closes sooner and he can go outside that much quicker.

I'm happy that ash is doing better and the vet knew what to do.

Blessings,

Poor Ash! Some naughty, naughty critter bit him on his tail! I'm so glad to hear that he is doing good though and that he'll be OK.

Let me add this new thing about Ash.

For the first time he sprayed in my house, right in front of me!! [-X [-X On a pile of clean towels on the towel rack in the bathroom. So I immediately put them in the wash. He is fighting with my other cats on more of a constant basis, he always wants outside --- and he might get that wish.

I swear he is not aloud in until we get him fixed, which will be either Monday or Tuesday.

So blessings for him on getting fixed, everything goes well, and blessings for him and me that I don't kill him before then!! *lol*

thank you
blessed be

I will send my blessings to both you and the cat - you so you don't give in to the urge to stangle him!, and the cat so that he might behave himself until the vet visit! Hopefully you wont go through too many clean towels before then!

Blessings!!
