teenage blessings needed

Post by mystique » Thu Feb 03, 2005 12:15 pm

Hi,
I am new to the sight, and learned about it from my daughter, who has taught me about wicca and paganism. Many of you know her as fairydust. She is a great kid. Unfortunately she is going through some troubled times right now. Being a teenage girl in today's society is not easy. You may remember the long post that brought all her issues to a climax one night. Well anyways, she is working hard at resolving the issues confronting her right now. Your prayers and blessing would be much appreciated.

I am not a practicing anything right now. I have issues with religion. Any religion. But I do strongly believe in acceptance and caring for other people. I must say those on this site seem to understand that, and I want to thank you for all the positive comments and guidance given to Fairydust in the past few months. This is one site I do not mind her coming to and posting.

Again please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, even though she doesn't seem to be here much lately.

She will, of course, be in our thoughts. We send you are our hopes that she will work through this in her own way.

I'll definitely be sending positive energies to both of you!

By the way, Fairydust is so lucky to have a mother as understanding as you =D>

I will keep you both in my prayers and send you positive thoughts. Tell her (from me of course) The teenage years are always the most annoying and it gets better as time progresses....going off to College was a massive weight off my shoulders.
((hugs)) >:D<

Thank you to everyone for all the kind words. She is actually grounded from the computer for a month, report card came in......grades....... so she won't be on for awhile. But she is using the time wisely: reading, painting, and actually spending some time with me. We are going to see the new Pooh Bear movie today. Silly, but fun! She does seem to be handling life a bit better. She is focusing on herself, not in a bad way, but in a way to get back her self esteem, which seems to have been lost in the past few months. Your prayers are helping!
