Well well, I would love to toss my hat into the circle
I cannot write in a proper fashion, I am still learning and developing my craft, artistic...NOT in this lifetime...lol...poetic, not very, organized ooh hell yes.. have a wonderful digital camera, love taking photos and messing with them, comic relief is served with sarcasim....maybe a column on a newbie's daily chronicles, self discovery path??? or how about a resource/website section? Book review? .. just rambling I guess
But if I can assist you in anyway, please email me. pm me, shake something my way and I will do my bestest for you.
I also have a friend here that is in radio as a creative writer and is on her own path and is willing to discuss or help out any way she can as well....PS: did I mention she is into advertising and marleting for her work and our local festivals here in the maritimes?...a fountain of info I am sure you can draw from if you would like.
So chin up and best of luck, and let the postings fly.........
All my best...Soulz Tears

those are good ideas, thanks SoulzTears.
But this whole newletter/mailing list that will be eventuall magazine is so on the very very dark, cold, dusty back burner until I straighten up some other things in my life.
But do not fear, I still plan on doing it. I love graphic/web design/development and I love being pagan/witchy.
Im so happy everyone wants to lend a helping hand to me, you guys are simply the best cyber family ever! >:D<

did we give up? or is everyone been too busy?(I know I have been,..looking for work again).
reason I ask is cause I just got an e-mail from a member of a group I just signed on (local and distanced followers of our path) and got some great yule recipes, if this project is still kickin then I'll find time to post 'em. probably do it anyway just to share cause I'm that type of guy.

please do share them.... Ive been very busy since Firelord left. And my friend moved in as a roommate and Ive been working a lot and trying to skip the holidays, etc.
I really miss my mom/family in arizona/california and I really miss/love Firelord as crazy as that might sound. And i have the holiday blues, which doens't help that my birthday is in 2 weeks. Oh well. Im still trying to figuire out if im doing anything for Yule.

But, as you said before, we'll have to do a lot over the computer or through the mail...

i always get a late start on bandwagons.
i don't know enough about anything to write good articles. i can't draw. the most i can offer is mad editing skillz...if you're ever swamped with things that need proofreading, i'll be more than happy to go over them and "red marker" as necessary.
i'd definitely be interested in receiving a copy! i'd also be willing to send some compensation your way. i'm sort of short on funds right now, but $10-$15 per issue is acceptable to me. if everyone who expressed interest in getting a copy kicked in that much, that might be enough to take at least a little of the financial stress off of you, or at least enough to buy yourself a little present for such hard work.
Hi WD1 !

Sometimes a good idea takes a long while to germinate.
I'm just now getting to reading this magazine stuff -- but better late than never I guess -- and I know with a elf-lette (or what's the masculine of elf-lette?) on the way on your end, this concept might be progressing at a -- well what's slower than a crawl? But...
I've worked on several art magazines as editor, art-director, and a lot of the other roles that kind of grass-roots start-up engenders (ask if you'd like to see a resume). I'd be more than happy to help if you have the need. I'm open to writing articles for you, poetry (samples available), do artwork, or get artwork to you from the pretty-good-sized pagan community around here.
Also -- I think there might be quite a lot of interest in western Washington State for the kind of magazine you're talking about. If after a while you wanted to try a distribution angle here, I would be open to helping...
Let me know if I can be of service...

I might as well shut down this post. With the baby coming and all......... well this probably won't happen, at least not for a few years. Sorry guys, please forgive me!
