Greetings!

Post by Mahala » Mon Feb 05, 2007 6:12 pm

Hi, I'm so excited to be here that I don't know what to write! Well, I guess I should tell you about myself.

Personal bio:

Pets: Horse,3 cats, one ferret.
Hobbies: Horseback riding, some art, playing in the school orchestra (Violin.), writing.
State of choice: Utah, the Beehive state
Favorite food: Uh... almost everything?
Favorite color: PURPLE! (In fact, I have a purple violin!:-))
Other forums visited: Horse Grooming Supplies most frequently.
I'm ArabGirl. I also visit Under the Moon, also known as Mahala.

So, I know I can't officially call myself Pagan or Wiccan yet, because I'm waiting until my instincts tell me it's the right path for my life to take. Want to know more about me, PM me. I know my way around a forum already, but I'm a 'newbie' here, so, why not use the privilege of posting here?

Aha. I think I have a clue. Mahalas avatare is a frog, and she mentioned LDS families, on another thread.

Hmm...CHL, would it not have been better to ask that on the thread involöved? Then, at öleast we would not have to search around in confussion.

 uh hmm... yes... Mahala posted on LDS parents on the Under the Moon Forum and it's been bugging me: What is LDS??? Aside from Cpt. Kirk's hilarious mispronounciation in the fourth Star Trek movie...

Sorry I should keep my stories straight. I should have posted under the thread on this forum where Mahala mentioned LDS

BUT CHRONOTRIGGER!!! That is where the Frog is from! I don't meet too many people who know about ChronoTrigger, unless they are geeky gamers my age or a few years older.

I guess I got a little exited ;)

LDS means Latter Day Saints. Or, more commonly, Mormons.

Chronotrigger is awesome. I've only played a little bit of it because I'm not an avid game player, but even I know of the really cool sword in that game. Was it called the Masmune, CHL? I figure you'll remember. :-D Good game though.

Yes, the Masamune! Although I must admit, my favourite character is Ayla, although I'm always Marle. Ayla rocks! No weapons, only fists ^_^ Stronger than Chrono!

Ohhh THAT LDS... Mormons... hmm... Neat. Never had much exposure to Mormans. Mostly Baptists, Catholics, Mennonites (I work in a mennonite building), Seventh-Day Adventists... But not yet Mormans. Cool.

Never saw Mormons in the U.K. But there seem to be a lot here.

I am on a wargaming website where there are quite a few mormons. They are totaly different in "real life", to those that knock on your door.

I was quite surprised. I thought they had a similar attitude to the military as the Joey witnesses, but apparantly the U.S forces are full of them, in all branches.
