Fresh Flesh

Post by Saenor » Sat May 27, 2006 4:46 am

Heya People,

I'm new to the Forum so I thought let's introduce myself. I'm 17 years old.
Well I live in The Netherlands, Nijmegen. My real name is not that important but if you want to know, it is Jaap Knoben, a typical Dutch name. I just looked at your locations and it is mainly USA/Canada, so we have a bit of a time difference, I geuss this is like in the middle in the night for you guys/girls.

Well me reason to join is that I'm interested in other cultures. And religions. Why so? Well, I'm pretty much a Metal/Folklore fan (Kalmah/Finntroll/Korpiklaani/Ensiferum), and a few months ago I was listening to another song it was pretty dark you could say, then I looked up the artist on the Internet, and it was a band called Deicide. I never heard of it, so I somply went to www.deicide.com (Not the most loving site on the internet, so I advice you against it if you can't stand blood etc.). So I soonly saw that Deicide is a huge anti-christian band..Well that started to roll the ball. Believe in God, Satan? And what to choose, well not Satan. Not the most friendly person against Humanity so God perhaps..but everything that happens isn't that God's will? How can God then start wars. WWII wasn't that pleasant I geuss, how can a God wish that if he loves all people? Why does God give people mental problems to people who didn't do anything wrong? Is that love to you creation?..That's like giving your domestic animal poison.. :-? So now I'm searching to other Religions trying to learn stuff, read stuff. And especially choosing a new religion perhaps? Who knows...we just see how it goes :-) I must say I prefer to the Germanic cultures at the moment..

Well sorry for the massive intro, I got carried away.
All right I hope you people can teach me something :-D
(Sorry for the bad grammar, Dutch after all)

Hello. Again, if you read my answer to you on another thread. ;)

Don't worry about the log intro. We are all pretty patient here. Plus it is interesting to read. 8-)

You have come to the boards in a fairly normal way. A lot of people here are just like you, in that they are seeking.

That's good. It shows your mind is active.

Don't be affraid to ask questions, or even disagree if you wish. Constructive criticizm can teach as well as any method.

Read around, get the feel of the place. I think you will enjoy it. :-)
