Newbie!

Post by Jescissa » Thu Mar 23, 2006 2:29 pm

I know, I know, not a particularly catchy headline, but hey, there we go!

I've been a practicing witch for nine years now. I began studying with my best friend at school, but I've practiced alone now for about six to seven years. Solitary witchcraft has always felt natural to me, although there may come a time when I feel I want to be part of a coven.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I know all there is to know, or that I know a great deal...but what I do know makes me happy and my beliefs are an important part of my life. I have always felt closer to nature than to any deity that can be 'found' inside a stone building...when in church as a child, I used to find myself staring out of the windows. I always felt more in tune with a sense of divinity when I was surrounded by living, growing things.

I just found this board today and I felt that it would be a good place to carry on with my studies, to share the things I already know and to discover the things that I don't :-)

Bright blessings to all!

None of us do. If you said otherwise.... then we would start wondering.
:-D

That is what is important. Along with the urge to learn. Sure STRIVE to know everything. You, or any of us, never will. But it is what gives us our purpose.

I look foreward to hearing and discussing those beliefs with you. We have a great bunch of people. I would say you should, as allways, make your own mind up, but no one here will lead you astray. Because they know they are being "watched".

By the way. This is possibly perfect timing. Today is my first year here, and THIS is my 1000th post. :-D :-D :-D :-D ( Thank you ;))

Hope to see you saying that this time next year. :-D :-D

Welcome!!!! *Does happy Newbie dance*

I hope you enjoy it here. Honestly, when I am stressed out, this is where I go. I love our little Online Pagan Family (a term coined by Stormy??) and I welcome you to it with open arms. (A bit sappy, yes I realize, but I just came from a class for Hospice, so I'm strange...)

Ragnar, CONGRATS!!!! *dances again*

Hope you like our extended pagan family.

Welcome to the Library, where coffee drinking is par for the course.

It's not fair to judge anybody before they've had their coffee. I actually just took my first sip of the life-giving necter. MMMMMM Java.

But please forgive us if we seem a bit rough around the edges... especially those of us with early mornings. We're really quite nice... really. :)

The Library has some really good resources available and here on the boards, we have quite a few knowlegable souls who occasionally commit their thoughts to written word and can also be prevailed upon to answer questions. Of course, that's when they're not working themselves to death.
