The eclipse is only visible from North America, though.

Fabulous! Thanks for sharing this. I would have missed them! Let's hope we're not clouded over both those days ;)

I caught sight of these last month but well... I wasn't posting anything on here last month. Thanks for reminding me though. Any of our starstruck pagans here remember the significance of a Full Moon eclipsing within bare hours of solstice? :?: doiknow:

Actually, I'm not sure  ... I'm going to be looking for more on it myself.

I realized yesterday that I really should care about full moon's/eclipses/other stuff for every celebration, but Yule is my favourite holiday. I'm pretty sure that is because I was born on a Winter Solstice.

I will let you know when I find out. :-D

Until then, increase the security! (and let me know what day of the Triffids is? )

Interesting. I was born Oktober and am convinced that is why I LOVE Autumn. (Fall to you lot. )

"Day of the Trifids", you SERIOUSLY do not know the book/film?

A meteor shower, which turned every one who saw it blind, set off these plants that chased and ate people. A bit like war of the worlds in wood.

War of the Worlds? I would describe it more as "Night of the Zombie Sunflowers".

Kitsune:

Check it out here: http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/The_D ... s/70014962

Ragnar:

Ever see Night of the Comet? http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Night ... t/70061282

Yes. But I am not a great fan of SF. In fact films of any sort really.

Ah, it cleared up for a few hours near dusk, and then went right back to heavy rain. Boo! Ah well, we'll see the next one, which better be in drought season!

Does anyone know when the zombie apocalypse begins?
