Blessed Nike

Post by Rowan » Sun Feb 07, 2010 6:58 pm

For the last few days I have wondered who I might pray to for our beloved football team to win Superbowl XLIV and finally I remembered Nike, goddess of victory. So today I asked Nike for a victory for us, and she delivered. She definitely gave our team her wings of victory!!!

GO SAINTS!!!
I have lost my way.

LOL, your team won, and it was a pretty good game. Although in Canada we don't get eh American ads. From what I can see in the blogs though, they were all essentially "men are dumb and worried about being emasculated" ads, so no biggie.

The who did a pretty good job too.

Looks like someone was a Colts fan.
I'm living in the Shadows and the Night,
Wrapped in warm darkness, safe and sure.
My Path shines by the Moon's fragile light,
It frees my Mind and keeps my Heart pure.

Then I won't post any further threads regarding sports of any kind and you can close this one.

And sports fans can not take a joke either, I see.

Na basically I HATE all sports. I just do not see the point of the enourmous waste of energy.

LOL Ragnar. I love sports, but I agree, we people who love sports are a bit wierd.

I mean even with the world cup this summer, I cheer for England and I married into an Italian family. I think I will be temporarily divorced/disowned for June and July.

LOL at the doritos commerical, though I did like the Google one too.

Hubby and I watched JUST the commercials on Hulu.

The Doritos commercial with the little boy telling the guy "Two Rules, you don't touch my mama, and you don't touch my Doritos" was cute.

When Pittsburgh was in the super bowl, hubby and I watched the last 15 mins. Just enough to see who won. So, no, not really sports fans here. He's a computer geek and I'm a bookworm.

Though, in my violent youth, I enjoyed a good hockey game. Now I just get bored.

But the thing that makes me go "WHA?" are all the sport-themed video games. If you like the game enough to shell out $50 for a little cd so you can play in virtual reality, why not spend $12 on a ball and actually play for real?
You say "Witch" like it's a bad thing!

Amen Kystar, I would so much rather actually go bowling than bowl on a Wii.
