She said: 'I look after mine really well but they do have a habit of escaping and running round the house - they are very fast and appear in the strangest places.

'I have found them in cupboards, snuggled up in my bed, and they even line up and watch the television with me at night.
Just thank the Gods you are not a Klingon, lassie. :-"

I'm sorry I couldn't read the whole article because I couldn't get past the poor grammar in the start of the article. *steams* ](*,)
I have lost my way.

Maybe now you're starting to understand that while I may have been born predispositioned to be pretty batty, my parents saw to it that it was a certainty and completely unavoidable. -Me

those are really cute, but I think my two cats might not fully understand the concept of "other pets" and might see them as yuppy toys.

However, I would get a tribble in a minute.

A tribble would make an excellent cat-companion pet, if you could control that breeding like mad thing.

Personally, I'd go for the Puffskeins from Harry Potter...as they eat spiders and we have a whole LOAD of the eight legged things in our basement.

If I didn't think Kali-kitty would use 'em for a chew/chase toy, I probably would get a hedgehog of some sort.

I have nothing against spiders when they're not in my house. To each creature their own place. Their place is out under the deck, or under the shed, or under the oak. NOT in my basement stationary tub waving at me as I do laundry.

Hubby is starting to collect "Spider and web art" of a sort...he's been spraying them with adhesive. I think that's a little extreme.

And Ragnar, the answer to that riddle is "Something I hope to NEVER NEVER EVER meet in a dark alley. Or a light alley, for that matter!"

They are not. YOU are in theirs.

Yes you DO actualy.

It is Odinn on Sleipnir.

"Eight legs has Sleipnir, Odinn two more, Two heads between them, spear always goes fore,..."

It goes on, but I can not remember the rest. HEY! IT is my 49th birthday in one hour. I am celebrating 48, because it was....Hmm... "NOT very good" and I am glad it is nearly over, and looking foreward to my half century, NEXT year.

So I have had a "few beers", as the saying goes. :drinkers: :bear:

Happy birthday, Ragnar.

And the argument of whose place is whose could become very circular. I understand that we took land from the wild things to build our home, but this is our den now, and I'd rather they not creep through it.

As for the Odin riddle, Norse mythology wasn't something I studied in depth...and Frankly, I'd wet myself if Odin appeared in front of me for ANY reason. Good OR bad!

Did Slepnir only have 6 legs in FFVIII? I never noticed that. We got him as a surprise help in the final battle! We were so impressed, but he didn't kill her... He did destroy her entire room though... the rest of the battle showed her floating in front of a blue sky with a few clouds and the lower part of the throne. It was awesome!

Ragnar, happy birthday! 30 beers? I agree... perhaps a day or two before riding the motorcycle would be best.
