Sorry I haven't been around much, I've been busy getting a life and getting my life in order.
I would like to announce my new SO, Melissa (Melissa3428). And there are some wonderful photos of her and her equally wonderful son, Sam here:

I promise to spend more time on the board in the future. Thanks to all of the moderators for handling things while I've been otherwise occupied.
One word of caution, she's a vampire.

Maybe now you're starting to understand that while I may have been born predispositioned to be pretty batty, my parents saw to it that it was a certainty and completely unavoidable. -Me

What painting?
The new place was finished several months ago and I simply said "Goddess, the nest is ready and now I believe I am as well." Melissa and Sam came into my life several weeks later, and I couldn't be happier.

There's blue painting tape in a couple of the pictures with Sam, so I was just curious.

welcome back, we all take breaks sometimes!

Oh, those are spots we have to talk to the contractor about. Otherwise it's done. Nice catch, though.

Wow the girlfriend will be glad to know she's on a par with the scooter.
As for the part "happiest" part, it's quite understandable. A couple of months ago I finished the house, and simply said "Goddess, I think I'm ready for a family now." My wonderful Melissa came into my life just about a month ago. It's going to be quite an interesting life, though, as I'm 45 and she's 23.
