Canadian Stonehenge

Post by Bandersnatch » Fri Jan 30, 2009 1:56 pm

This was on the front of my newspaper this morning so I thought I would share.
EDMONTON — An academic maverick is challenging conventional wisdom on Canada's prehistory by claiming an archaeological site in southern Alberta is really a vast, open-air sun temple with a precise 5,000-year-old calendar predating England's Stonehenge and Egypt's pyramids.
There are a number of links out there but this one has pictures:

When me and Grimwell have a free day (and some gas money) we'll go and take some pics for you guys.

Grimwell mentioned that its probably a ley line site as well... It's definitely cool that it's so close to us!
