She just turned 3 a few days ago on November 15th!!
So shes doing great with all her new stuff.

We also had her tested, trying to get her into preschool but she scored way too high so shes not going to school for another 2 years. :( Shes almost learning to read, its just all amazing and we are looking forward to Thanksgiving and Yule/Xmas.

if you visit my myspace or facebook or cafemom there is always updated pics and blogs about her! Thanks for asking!

I'll send him a message and tell him that everyone is begging for him to come back. I'll see if he wouldn't mind making an appearance. He's been double and triple booked lately, unfortunately. So send him some good energy, and maybe he can pop in.

I'm still here. We had a bit of a scare. The wife has a lump under her breast and we thought the worse. However, the surgeon had a look at it and it turns out to be an inflammation. She is on an anti-biotic and will see him again next month--whew! I've been busy with work but now that Thanksgiving is over sales have dropped considerably. Things will be slow until X-mas and New Years and then things will once again get slow. As far as pagan studies go I've been at a standstill for awhile. A lot of stress and having a hard time making ends meet and I have a manager who definitely fits the domestic violence profile of New York and I kid you not.

Good to hear that it was just a scare social. But then, breast cancer is one that I wouldn't worry about as much as some others. I fear like liver cancer or ovarian cancer. Those are harder to detect, and by the time they do..... it's usually metastasized :(

But good luck with it all. I'm sure she will feel great soon. I had an infection when I was in middle school or high school. Wow, it makes me sound old that I can't remember that. Ugghhh, it was painful and the doc told me it was like a big zit. How I loved my breast being called a big zit. But also, at the time, it was a big relief. I thought I had cancer then. Man, the things you learn...

Best wishes

Bonjour mes amis... gotta be careful, y'all, what you wish for. Ya might get it, actument, eh?

Seriously, fyregarnet let me know that I'd been asked about. I do apologize, but she was right, work has me flooded like y'all wouldn't believe. I'm not only having to visit offices in other states, our company, 1 of 18 owned by the same parent, just formed the Enterprise Business Solutions Unit to handle electronic solutions across companies, i.e. development and internet business and systems integration. When they did that, I became the Chief of Technology and Development for the eBSU, so now am in charge of IT and Development essentially for 5 companies full time and for some of the others under our corporate umbrella, as needed. So, I just went from extremely busy to "flooded and seeking air", lol... and no, for the few I can hear thinking about it, I didn't get a raise, ugh... but in this economy, I'm not flipping out about it... yet.

To all you old members, yeah, I'm still out here and I still think about ya... and if y'all really need me, you have my various IMs/E-Mails.

For you newer members, yes, I do exist and will eventually come torment you, lol.

I will try and check in from time to time, but honestly, there just hasn't been time for most anything except work lately... though I did manage to make it to Fyregarnets wedding... it was beautiful, as was she, and I was proud to hold a sword over her and her now hubby.

Until my next visit, Miles Beannachta (a thousand blessings) to you all,
Rune Wulfsong

Always good to see you, mon frère.

You really weren't kidding when you said busy.

Just remember to breathe mindfully when you do get those brief moments of air, and it'll make them seem to last longer.

Social,

I'm so glad it wasn't anything serious! Sapphire and I keep you two in our thoughts and prayers.

Too bad about the boss. Sadly, you'll find that sort everywhere.

Wow! Thanks for stopping in!

Here's hoping that things calm down (in a good way for you).

Bonne Chance!

was close enough, ami... I think you mean lassiez les bon temps rouller, i.e. for those who don't speak french or cajun, "let the good times roll", lol.... that's almost become a cliche these days in relations to those of us from NOLA (New Orleans) and cajun country in general, but it holds true.

Oui, I am back, as much as I can be... and I thank y'all for the welcome and thank those of you who have been there for me outside the board as well. I'm finally looking at making a change... realizing that I can't let work run my life (into the grave) the way it has been. I don't know exactly how soon I'll be making the change, but I am actively researching new areas to move to and jobs.... and trying to spend more time here, reviewing the posts, answering PMs, etc.

The wonderful thing about the library is that in a way, it's like a family, a lot of distant cousins who come together to talk, share things, bitch about stuff, etc... it's probably one of, if not the, best online pagan gatherings. We avoid pretentious b.s. and politics, try to keep open minds and share with each other, both on and off topic, which is such a wonderful thing in this world.

I just wanted to say yes, I am back... and thank you for being there for me and keeping me in your hearts, minds (occasional nightmares, lol) and helping me remember that life is more than just killing yourself with work. You all know who I'm talking to.... A big hug  to our Pagan Library extended family.

Wassail,
RuneWulf
