Hey, Stormy, that looks pretty darn good! I can't wait until I get a bit older. I love my red hair, but I already have a lot of pure white hairs, and nobody sells grey hair dye :-?

Ragnar, that would be very interesting to see!!

Well, my husband is never going to let me live it down, looking good or not LOL - course, I better get used to the color because unlike the hair dyes sold for people which eventually dull down or wear off, the dye I was using is a professional industrial strength permanant dye that is wash fast and light fast - I had hoped that with only a few seconds in the dye bath and less than 2 minutes before I got it under running water, that it would wash out but the stuff is really strong  At least it didn't take the true color that the wool ended up being - a really hot pink-purple :-D

Stormy that looks sexy...are you doing anything tonight?.....

Anyway, I think it is pretty neat. I have given up dying my hair, I decided this year to grow it out the required ten inches then chop it off and give it to a company that makes wigs for cancer patience. It is an easy thing to do so I thought...why not?

Hehe! My mam says she thinks it looks funky though :D

Oh and..

Ahh Deep purple... i have been trying to get my hair to go purple for years.. but it ALWAYS comes out red, and only the red is really visable when im in direct sun light and then i shine like a traffic light...

but I 1st died it red, with semi perm (my mam messed up put two on two close, it went permenant)..

Then i went purple a few months later = Red ..

so i thought.. hmm i could try and make purple... so i died my hair blue... = Red..

then we have tried several variants of purple.. the latest i think is Cyber Purple. and i seemed to have developed a little purple tinge.. but its still red. GAH..

How do you dye your hair purple or blue without shelling out tons of cash?
I went to get my hair dyed that color and every salon wanted around $100.00 american (just for one visit each month) so it would cost me $1,200 a year to have blue or purple hair.

Aww, I think its really pretty! From what I can tell in the picture it looks as if you went somewhere and intentionaly had that done. So pretty....

I sometimes think I should do something drastic and new to my hair, like cut it or dye it... but then I remember that I am WAAAAY too much of a taurus to get rid of the hair I've had since forever. ;)
Hey look... I got a new icon....

So what if its Sailor Moon again? *shifty eyes*

Yeah, there are the temporary hair dyes that you can buy at places Like Hot Topic or Spencers like Manic Panic. Never tried them before though...

Actually, it has finally faded out - thank goodness - I'd hate to be going for the job interview with pink hair lol.

I've used Manic Panic tons of times. I don't recommend it for dark haired people though. I'm a natural blonde so most shades show up really well. I used to put bright red streaks in my hair but since it isn't permanant it faded to bright pink (which I hate) but it still looked cool.
