Thanks to both of you :)

It's still been a few days. Or a week. Or something. I can't remember. The last two days are a blur. Was my dear's birthday, and we pulled two consecutive all-nighters.

I've spent the last three weeks in a blissful blur, and I'm not going to be allowed to wallow in it any longer. Today was a huge and painful wake-up call into reality. *grumble grumble*

I'm going to leave now before I vent

Just remember, we're always here for you to vent to...

And don't come all the way back down here... It just isn't as fun :-D .

True Dat, vent away anytime!!!!

Sometimes waking up to reality is good, you learn that the good stuff is just as real as the bad!!!

Hey I'm a bit late with any advice but i will any way :-D
Firstly, i am real happy for you and your new bloke.
Secondly your ex is just being a complete idiot. Most probably jealousy. I do think that ex's can be friends, but like some one said, only friends with nothing else thrown into it. If this was me i would have just said some thing to the ex whether it hurt him or not as he needs to know. You have done nothing wrong so DO NOT feel guilty!
Hope all is well CHL! And have some fun! :-D

All is well, thank you. :) Having incredible romantic fun with Chris. Had a wonderful picnic yesterday by the lake on a nice, sunny, warm day. He knows pretty well all the things I was dreading telling him, and he's fine and supportive with it all! *does the happy dance*

Still not talking with Dan (former guy). Hmm. Maybe this means I get to keep his movies ;) (I'll give them back... Knowing him he may ask me to keep them O_O)

The only thing is that Chris is not comfortable with the idea of me talking with Dan. I will, anyway, if we ever do talk again, but his feelings will be brought into consideration and I do not want him feeling weird. *sigh* What drama boys bring.

 .... not sure sounds like a male thing to me. If that was about women there would be a lot of extras on that list.
Shopping
Stressing (ABOUT MEN!!!)
When to next book hairdressers appointment
How will i ever get into those jeans before the party (planned for the coming weekend...)
See we are quite complex BUT i still think men are worse...

I must not be a woman. I hate shopping, the only stressing over men I have done was over my last bf, and if I can't fit into my jeans, well something's wrong and I may as well wear my nice comfy pajama pants and darn it all to those who try and stop me!!

Another update, as if it were actually important:

I have given him back all of his stuff, and I have all of my stuff. No more contact with him, as the moment I saw him to get my stuff and to give back his (separate times), he tried to guilt-trip me soooo bad: "Well, it sure didn't take you long to find the man of your dreams." (er... 7 months? Plus a lifetime of a huge crush on this man.) So, no reason to talk to him anymore. I have spoken with his best friend (who is also a friend of mine), and he will take care of him, so I will not have to worry, and can fully enjoy my new man.

I am head-over-heels, but taking things day by day. He got a bowflex!! We set it up the other day (oooooooooo) and I am in love with it. Call me a love-sick moron but I think this will work out for quite a while. We click on every level. *hour-long rant about new man*

So, now I am singing Elliot Smith: "It's comin' up roooses everywhere."

I think it's something a bit like viagra. But it works mechanically rather than chemically... ;) ;) ;)
