I watched Buffy some, my favorite characters where Willow, her werewolf boyfriend, and the vamp that had a thing for Buffy.... :-k I can't remember his name,. I found a movie on the hallmarkchannel of all places called "The Good Witch" that was quite good and even reasonalbly accurate as far as I could tell. It's worth watching. I also saw and old movie with Jack Lemon and Jimmie Stewart "Bell Book and Candle" It played to most of the stereotypes but was a good story anyway.

Anyone keeping up with Supernatural.....MMM Dean =P~ lol

Never watched Buffy.

Interesting how no study ever reads...."We realised our church was so bigoted we were pushing people away."

Ah, but Willow, that would imply that there was something fundamentally wrong with their approach. They can't admit that!

Still, I would love to see the headline.

I guess the rhetoric interests me. It isn't that churches "Push people away" it's that evil things like sex, drugs, rock and toll and paganism "pull them away." The blame is always elsewhere.

OK I got to say it, I Love Buffy.
I've got all the seasons on DVD, my boys and the missus and me have watched it from beginning to end more than once.
Spike (James Marsters) has got to be the coolest vampire of all time. The whole show is so much fun I can't imagine anyone not getting a kick out of it. Like the scene where Buffy taunts Spike because he can't hurt people anymore. As she walks away he says; "I will drink your blood, slayer. Your neck will be my chalice." Then he turns around and falls into an open grave. How about that one episode called "Once more with feeling"? Buffy as a musical.
The whole thing is such darned good fun from start to finish I still find myself chuckling at any episode.
It's entertainment folks.
It'll be all right in the end. If it's not all right, it's not the end.

OK, next time I really feel like procrastinating I will downlaod some free Buffy off the internet. After all this talk though, it'd better be good! [-X

I watched Grey's anatomy on people's reccomendations...ugh, made it through half an episode.

Yeah, three Witch sisters battling evil? That's Charmed.

I stopped watching when Pru left...b/c despite how much of a b*tch she was...the way they fixed her "death" by throwing in a half sister from somewhere just didn't jive very well for me...then again, it might have been because of Paige's personality.

Used to enjoy that, even if it WAS a little silly.

Yeah, Charmed is my guilty pleasure show :-" The whole "New Sister" thing really irked me, too!! I stopped watching about a year before that.

While I can see how they'd throw her in, she should have been a right dark personality (since the forth face of the Goddess is hidden in darkness).

The first season and a bit was fun, but after than they did start screwing it up quite a bit.

I like Charmed too. I always feel a bit guilty for admiting it. Mostly I liked it to see what they were wearing. I am not sure about San Francisco but if you wear some of that in Ohio you will get gawked at.

I did not mind the sister switch. You cannot have the power of three with two. It is better than having an actress replacement claiming she is Prue.

The final series annoyed the piss out of me. What was with the blond chick and wanting to find her sister? Yeah, yeah, I saw the finale. I was not happy.

I understood the REASON for the sister swap, I really did. But they wrote her to be such an annoying little thing that I stopped watching b/c she drove me nuts. Her character didn't mesh well with Piper and Phoebe at all, imo

Wasn't it because the other one was such a pain in the butt both on and off set?

Seems to ring a bell.
