Navajo Grandfather

Post by Mahala » Mon Mar 26, 2007 8:08 pm

One day an old Navajo man was teaching his grandson about life. He told the boy, "Inside me, there are two wolves fighting."
"It is a terrible fight,"He told the boy.
"This fight is going on in you, and everybody else." He paused.
"One wolf is good, it is happiness, joy, laughter, and comfort."
"The other, is evil, it is hate, anger, blame, lying, and regret."
After a few minutes of careful thought, the young boy asked his grandfather,
"Which wolf will win?"
The grandfather simply replied, "The one you feed."

I love that story, it never gets old. ^_^
Maybe now you're starting to understand that while I may have been born predispositioned to be pretty batty, my parents saw to it that it was a certainty and completely unavoidable. -Me
