I know, on the one hand you feel bad for the girl...
but on the other hand, the schematics of the entire event are amazing.

I heard somewhere that that is the strongest muscle in the female body.

Mine does that all the time. I get like three months of one before it switches to the other. Less than helpful, let me tell ya.

I fell powerful when I have my period. I think it's a PMS thing. I get very ornery, and the irritability comes with a sense of power. I feel far more like I can conquer the world, and goddess help anyone who stands in my way!

The Goddess has blessed me with my period, anyway. It's only three days long at the very most and it always stops overnight and avoids holidays.

LOL

You are not hated, at least by me O_O

Mine has been good to me for about 4 years. It's only been 8 months that I have been good to it and letting it be natural.

Shall be interesting to see how the Hallelujah Diet has changed it.

CHL --

Yeah after I had Serenity I had the longest, longest period of my life!! ARG it was like 6-8 weeks and heavy too. Then at my 6 week checkup with my doc he put me on birth control.... the NuvaRing. He highly recomends it but says you would be amazed that women dont like using it because you have to insert it and take it out and women dont want to touch themselves or something or think its weird.......
So I told him I would be brave and try it and if I didn't like it he would be the first to know. It was great to only have to worry about your birth control once a month, altho you still have a normal period which for me is just 5 days with a normal flow.
And you mentioned holding the purple worm (my baby) except I had a C-section and the first itme I saw her she was all wrapped up, and when I saw her in the nursery she was plump and pink so I missed that purple worm thing.....

But I have recently moved out to California and I dont have my NuvaRing anymore, I ran out. I also have to find a new OBGYN which is very scary because I LOVED my OBGYN in KY. I never feared paps with him and he saved my daughters life and he was pretty young and pretty cute, but very quiet and shy until you get to know him. I wish I could of brought him with me to Cali.... ha ha

I hope you find a new OBGYN you like. I hope Serenity is doing well and you are enjoying the California weather.

I love Nuva ring, I can never believe how many people don't like it because of the way it is worn. It is so easy and you can't feel it at all . Mind you , I have been using the Diva cup for two years now so stuff like that does not bother me at all.

My tubes are tied, I have been using that form of birth control for 8 1/2 years now :-D I've done the pill and I did the shot, but the shot messed me up pretty bad, I'm manic depressive and I had really bad bout's of depression on the shot. I got off of that and then had my daughter :-D I had complications during my daughters Birth (as well as my sons) So the DR recommended I tie my tubes at the Rip ole age of 22.So I did what I thought I had to do Since then I've gotten remarried and now I wish I could have another baby..Anyway thats a different subjust completely.

My periods are non existant and when I do have one the PMS I suffer is a whole lot worse then it was before I got my tubes tied.

CHL are there any herbs you can use to make your periods come? I'm just wondering, My husband and I don't have health insureance so I can't go to a DR to see why I haven't had a period in 7 months now. And they'll want to do a D&C *does the icky Dance* I hat ethose things

Anyway just wondering

Yeah, Depo Provera is bad for that. I was on it for a couple years, and I got the depression spells as well. They were hard to deal with. On the upside, since I've only ever had very light periods, Depo took them away and the PMS away completely. I was very pleased. I'm off it now, and it took 7-8 months before I even got my period back.

Willow: I just bought the DivaCup!! I found that my local natural foods store carries them!! :-o Woot!

Sagewolf, I don't know any herbs that would start your period, but I am VERY glad that you got it!!! Funny how that happens the moment you mention it...

I know right? Well the period was very very light and I stopped the next day but I'm still cramping so badly, My husband came in and asked me if I'd go pick up his sister and I was laying in bed crying because of the cramps, He asked what was wrong, I said Oh nothing just being stabbed over and over again in the overies.

I have a word of advise to anyone thinking of getting their tubes tied DON'T DO IT The periods are much worse I had bad ones before I had my son then they evened out alot then after I got my tubes tied they are 10 times worse then before I had kids

Anyway I'm off for now

"Ooooowww, my ooovaries!" - Bart Simpson

Yep, cramps can be death. I had one month where I had to keep walking constantly, because it was the only thing that would make it feel better. But dear lord, it just feels so GOOD when it stops!

Windtalker you have your tubes tied too? I've heard from several different women who had their tubes tied that the cramps are so much worse then it was before, I mean sevral, and I was just wondering, why is it something that the DR's don't warn you about, This is something kinda big and I was never warned, none of the women I've talked too were, I think it should be mentioned :-o
