That would be a crappy consolation prize back in the day, though. You think you've found the guy you want to care for you and support you...you get the guts up to ask him and he's like "nope, sorry. Here, have a dress!"

Very true! But I think the dress was kind of like mud in the face, because it would be used for the next one to come along.

I can't help thinking of the overly romantic sister in M. Night Shamylan's The Village. :lol:
