Well I didn't know tiger was an option or I would have picked that ;)
I think I am a turtle, because as great as you guys are and as much as I love learning I still keep pluggin' along with Christianity, and getting back to my roots with paganism. Despite how much they (Fundies) keep TICKING #-o me off. Read: Gay marriage ebate here in Canada.
Anyway somewhere between turtle and sheep, which makes a great mutant mental piture in my head.

a protest...

Post by dragonflydrummer » Fri Feb 18, 2005 10:42 pm

:brave: Given the poll as it is I'd have to go solidly with the owl's wisdom and silent raptorness. But what's wrong with badgers? Ever since the Treasure Of Sierra Madre's -- "Badgers -- we don't have to show you no stinking Badgers!" there's been a movement afoot to malign the little dudes and I personally would like to see an end to it start right here.

There's an old proverb comparing the ancient Greek culture to the ancient Hebrew culture that goes "The Fox knows many clever things, but the Badger knows one big thing. " What is that one big thing the Badger knows? Go mess around one's hole and find out... heee heee...

Maybe a dolphin, some form of cat, kitten, tiger, panther, etc.

Or maybe like the iguana I used to have, and sunbathe on a hot rock all day under the sun. I love heat!!

Yes I think I'd go for a cat myself. backoff:

Iguanas are certainly magical creatures. I think they get the sun-bathing award. And when you look in their eyes they are so ancient & matter-of-factly wise through generations...

I'd have to say I'm:
83% tenacious turtle
15% wise owl
and
2% fuzzy sheep
lol...maybe a tiny bit more fuzzy sheep...

Take my time, enjoy the scenery, not really in a hurry to get anywhere, never seeming to really go anywhere, I am very much a turtle. But like my astrological sign the bull, am also racing about, the proverbial bull in the china shop. I need the thick shell to protect me from my own mistakes
I also seldom forget anything. Pretty annoying. ;)

Half Furry Coyote and half Stinking Badger. People have told me this makes me hard to get along with.........

I am however occasionally possessed by a Wise Owl. The problem is, this does not happen nearly enough........

Badger.

Use what you got before someone else uses theirs on you.

I am all for first strike, and taking out targets stratiegically.

But only when I feel My family, friends, or self to be threatened. :angryfire:

Other than that Owl and Raven.

I feel called upon to point out that the following species would all claim to tbe turtle:
Badgers
Coyotes
Eels
Foxes
Owls
Turtles

I can honestly admit to being at least one of these and no more than six of them.
