LOL, a green smoothie is a whole meal for me, I have tried parsley and cilantro, but It is best just to cook them for me. I guess we can't have everything we want in life eh?

Okay, I made the stew, and it turned out wonderfully!

It was a bit peppery for our tastes, but quite honestly, it was also a bit thick. I added quite a bit more beef broth than was suggested, but I vastly preferred it (and have come to the decision that I probably like what would be considered "thick soups" :roll: ).

Here's the utterly non-vegetarian recipe with my changes ( :lol: )

2 cups beef stew meat, cubed
1/2 cup chopped onion (I substituted Green onion, and it still tastes great!)
2 cups chopped carrots
4 cups diced raw potatoes
4 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1 tablespoon garlic seasoning mix
1 1/2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
black pepper, cinnamon, salt, & rosemary to taste

Directions: Brown the stew meat in a skillet. Place browned meat in bottom of crockpot. Stir in vegetables.

Combine the broth, parsley, seasonings, and tapioca in a small bowl. Pour over mixture in crockpot. Use additional Beef broth until vegetables are not covered.

Cover; cook on low for 8-10 hours. Stir before serving.

It turned out rather well for me, and the best part was the tapioca! Most stews that I've had have a faint flour aftertaste to them, but with the tapioca that after taste was completely eliminated!
