You know that really saddens me, many of our earliest discussions were very intuitive, exhilerating and very... deep. It's too bad that some of them weren't saved so that newer members could continue the discussion and broaden their horizions as I had that first year. (my where has the time gone) Seems like a lot of the threads lately are turning into what we... I had feared they would become.Wbdsgnr1 wrote:i think the discussion with all the laws posted got pruned.
That happens around here a lot to keep the board tidy. good luck finding old posts.

hmmm??
Celtic_Dargon,
I could not agree more, I would have been very interested in reading (possibly contributing) to the earlier posts.....the insight and wisdom is a fountian over flowing I bet!!
Were they ever saved at all? Is there a possibility ( although I know everyone is extremely busy ) of ever having a yearly resource library of the past posts? That may help the board stay tidy, yet a person new and old, may still look back on a topic if need be from the earlier times.....just a thought.....
All the best....Soulz

Actually, I had asked this same type of question and Lib told me that in order to keep all the posts, they have to all reside in the same data base as the rest of the board, which (especially for those on dialup) would make the pages load painfully slow once the posts started to add up.

Unfortunately no one thought of it. I believe that the cut goes when a post has had no activity for 30 days. And since the old posts were hot at the time we didn't think about putting a lock on them. However, as you see, many of us don't have the time to post as much anymore and they sunk down and disappeared.

Really? Now that's a handful. That's probably a good idea, however many of our important and frankly, awesome conversations are already gone. Perhaps there will be a future spike and we'll get another emotionally intense opinions stated and get this place jumping again.
Edited: Here, this one's pretty old, however it's not the oldest since this board has been up since 2001 and I've been a member since 2002. Gosh! Has it been that long? And I'm not in the top 10 posters anymore!!
Anyways, here's the post: Annoyed with "old" Paganism

Annoyed w/ "old paganism"
Thank you Celtic Dragon,
I read the posts with much interest considering my varied religious upbringing. ( Mom was Jewish and Step father Catholic, Dad Baptist and Grandmother witchcraft ) ....holidays were confusing to say the least, but it worked itself out....
Thanks again...all my best...
