OMG...you are kidding me right....Ew. Kystar, thank you for convincing me never to eat off someone else's fire.
I think that is a good point Bandersnatch. I would do anything for my family, I don't know if that makes me more or less moral however. Some argue that if you abandon your morals as soon as things get tough, you are no better than the person who has no morals to begin with.
I think Les Miserables is a good example here.

Nope, not kidding you one bit.
I knew another guy who would start a fire with lighter fluid...then cook over it before the lighter fluid burnt off...and would keep sparking up the coals with more. His food tasted like butane. And he wondered why he got diahreha every time he'd cook out!
Yeah, at this stage of the game, I don't eat off any fire that I didn't start and tend. Even a BBQ pit!

Wow, that's terrifiying... Contact cement... (shudders)
Me, I'll admit to using the lighter fluid every once in a while, but generally Grimwell is able to get a fire started...
I'm guilty actually of using my "summoning" skill to help... Nothing gets a shaky fire going than asking a fire spirit to join your fire.
Oh, and Kystar... Thank you.
I spent nearly 10 minutes thinking how to describe my beliefs in a way that wouldn't call up D&D immediately or use the term Chaotic Good...
And then you killed it by adding the term... Sigh... I guess I simply can't escape my D&D heritage.

Trying to create a world, even in words, is good occupational therapy for lunatics who think they're God, and an excellent argument for Polytheism. -S.M. Stirling

I can't blame you... I sort of fit it perfectly.
And I really can't deny it. I'm edging towards chaotic neutral though, as I finally start understanding that sometimes you really do need to put yourself first.

Re: New Ethics Question!
My friends say that I'm "lawful good"....thus the avatar.
I'm moving away from it due to some bad experiences where I trusted certain people too much and was hurt.
it made me naive easy to take advantage of lie to etc.
The Rose colored glasses were slapped from my innocent eyes. twas quite a painful learning experience.
so for me at least "lawful good" can be a bad thing.
I have a lot of friends who are chaotic neutral, I think we balance each other out a little.
p.s. Kystar great avatar by the way.

Green - Thanks...He sort of fits my level of frustration right now. buying a house is stressful.
I would term myself Chaotic Neutral, mainly. Though, I have come up as True Neutral in a personality test.
