The well is above where you see us. the water runs underground and comes out of the rocks right there. A lions head has been put at the exit point. Where the well actually is, they've discovered that it can be drained and there is a secret room hidden by the well. legend has it that the Holy Grail, or the sacred chalice, was hidden there.

ooops didn't tit;e them.
First one is on the top of Glastonbury Tor looking through the tower into the mists of Avalon.
Second is a view of St Michaels tower at the top of the Tor.
Third is the meditation pool below the Chalice well.
