My Recent Painting

Post by scoia » Mon Apr 17, 2006 4:23 pm

Ahoy!

And friendly warnings, the work I've linked to is not particularly work safe, being a fairly realistic female nude. Please don't click if it'll get you fired, or severely aggravate your parents!

Aside from that, it's my most recent work after taking a break from painting for three years to concentrate on sculpture. It's oil on canvas, I've just shown it in a group show in Australia. Untitled.

Very nicely done! I love paintings of the human body.

Thankyou!

If I'm going to spend several hours staring at something and attempting to replicate it, it might as well be, er, easy on the eyes.

I love art but only on an appreciative level, i would love to able to draw or paint but I have zero patience for it. I prefer to quilt or cross stitch because I never mess up anything so bad that I have to trash it ans start over.

It also gives me something to do during movies, crossstitiching has to be one of the best cures ever for ADHD
